Camera Van

I come from a long line of creatives and performance artists; my father was a director and my mother was a producer, so as a child I spent a lot of time on set and fell in love with its electrifying atmosphere from a very early age.

As an adult, after a few fun but ultimately unsatisfying years as a surf instructor, I knew it was time to pursue my love of film. After studying film at Cambridge School of Arts, I spent a year sleeping on the floor of a friend’s recording studio, directing and shooting shorts to try and break into the industry. Eventually I won a short film festival held by Future Shorts, gaining me access to Pinewood Studios and camera rental houses such as MovieTech, Brownian Motion, London Filter Company, and Filmscape Media, where I fell in love with cameras and ultimately decided I wanted to become a cinematographer.

I’m adept at Phantom (high speed, food/drink, explosions, and my personal favorite—car drops), original camera rigs, tracking vehicles, table top work, cranes, visual effects, green screen, LED screens, and shooting on 35mm and 16mm. I’m the proud owner of a top-of-the-line shooting kit, including an Alexa Mini LF and TLS rehoused Canon FD S.S.C. lenses. I’m honored to have played a part in telling incredible stories around the world, from Iraq to Saudi Arabia to Georgia and beyond.
